P.O.C. is a space to connect producers of colour across the creative industries, including arts, media and events. It's a space to strengthen/build relationships, to share ideas and to exchange resources.
The network is open to producers at all levels and across all art-forms, who identify as 'of colour'/BAME/non-white. In this context, we use ‘producer’ as an overarching term for artist-producers, arts administrators, creative producers, curators, programers and project managers, working across all creative industries.
For this event, we will open up a discussion about efficiency and the operating model for this network for Producers of Colour. We'll be exploring practices of collectivity and how to make best use of the connections we have, as we seek to develop this forum.
As part of the evening, Ian Sergeant will be sharing his experiences of a recent research trip to Chicago, as we look at how research applies to creativity and ideas, particularly in the context of 'people, places and spaces'.
