OPEN SPACE: non-white producers meet-up

  • Impact Hub Birmingham 58 Oxford Street Birmingham, England, B5 5NR United Kingdom (map)

MAIA and BAMworks have collaborated to host a series of solution-oriented sessions and events for non-white producers in Birmingham. For this first session, we want to hear from you.

Join us at 6:30pm on Monday 24th July at Impact Hub, Birmingham for an evening of discussion, sharing and informal networking, as we collectively set the pace and take agency over this industry to create a series of sessions and events that will promote collectivity, strength and proactivity in our community. This is definitely not about re-hashing problems we all know exist, but about collaboratively equipping/supporting each other and curating a 'programme' we can all benefit from. What do YOU want? Who is doing what? What can WE do together? How do WE make this happen?

This event is free and open to producers at all levels and across all art-forms. In this context, we use 'producer' as an overarching term for artist-producers, arts administrators, creative producers, curators, programers and project managers, working across all creative industries.

To RSVP, please email Amahra Spence on with your name and the field(s) you work in. Please do share with anyone you feel may be interested in joining us.

*Please note this event is open to non-white producers in Birmingham only.
